How to Be the Lightning for Your Partner
In a relationship, you should always feel like you’ve been struck by lightning—anything less is settling for something just because it’s convenient.
So how can you make sure that you’re being the lightning for your partner?
It’s easy, and it’s so worth it.
Here are a few things you can do to make sure your partner always feels loved, appreciated, and excited to be with you.
1. Be Willing to Change
No one is perfect, and relationships require work.
If you’re not willing to put in the effort to change and grow as a person, your relationship will suffer.
In order to be the lightning for your partner, you need to be open to making changes in yourself—no matter how big or small.
2. Make Time for Them
With work, kids, and other obligations, it’s easy to let your partner fall by the wayside.
But if you want your relationship to thrive, you need to made them a priority.
Schedule regular date nights—even if it’s just a movie night at home—and make time to talk about things other than work and the kids.
Showing your partner that you still care about them and that they’re still an important part of your life will go a long way in making them feel like lightning for you.
3. Be Spontaneous
Lightning is spontaneous and exciting, so make sure your relationship has plenty of sparks by being spontaneous yourself.
Plan surprise outings, bring home flowers “just because,” or write them a heartfelt letter expressing your love for them.
Small gestures like these will remind your partner how lucky they are to be with you and help keep the flame of your relationship burning bright.
You are the spark and the Lightning !!
Don’t settle for anything less than feeling like you’ve been struck by lightning in your relationship.
You deserve someone who makes you feel alive and loved—and who makes being in a relationship feel like an adventure.
Follow these tips to make sure you’re always being the lightning for your partner and never letting the spark die out.
